One of my favorite recipes is pork barbeque. It is very easy to prepare and taste very delicious. I learned this recipe from my mom and grandmother while growing up in our hometown. It was always a family favorite. My mom and grandmother adds 7-up sometimes in marinating the pork. But I don’t use it. I have a little variation of my own. The ingredients for pork barbecue are the following: 1pound tender pork loin cubed, ¼ cup of soy sauce, 3 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced, about 2 tablespoon vinegar, brown sugar and a little tomato ketchup.
The following is the direction or working method for pork barbeque is first we will mix in a bowl the soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar and garlic. Then we add the pork and then we will marinate it at least overnight. When it is time for cooking it, we will heat the grill until it becomes hot. Then with bamboo or barbeque sticks we will thread the cubes of pork and place it on the grill. We should turn each side every now and then until the pork becomes brown and well done. Then with a hot plate of rice and barbeque sauce we can now relish this mouthwatering dish.
